Each cell of the Serial-Battery is surrounded by 2 mosfet switches with steering electronics. By putting these cell blocks in series, a battery is created of which each cell can be independently bridged. The constructed battery can be made suitable for any voltage in steps of cell voltage. By switching the bridged cells smartly, the capacity of the battery will be equal to the sum of all capacities (in Wh).
You can increase the capacity of the Serial Battery by adding more cell blocks in series and by adjusting the number of enabled cell blocks to the desired voltage.
The cells need not be equal in capacity. The central controller can determine the capacity of each cell and adjust the change sequence accordingly.
